Before I asked Kelly for help I was always only as good as Google or luck. In addition, I never had the knowledge or portions and meal make up (protein, carbs, etc.). Kelly was able to help me to navigate through the process of controlled eating. She made things easy to understand and asked lots of questions in her efforts to give me the best advice possible.
Kelly helped me to lose over 40 pounds. All of my blood work and labs improved after working with Kelly. I was surprised by how she made all of this easy to understand. Also, I assumed this would be 'diet-like'...but instead, she drove home the need to make this a lifestyle change and not a fad diet. No starvation or punishment...she let me know it was ok to include a treat now and then.

I sought help with my nutritional regimen because I reached the limits of what I could do for myself and came to the realization that as a woman, who is getting older that my usual course of care isn't going to be as effective. Why I sought out KNDA Consulting in particular is because I know coach Kelly from the gym. Coach Kelly can best be described by the verb, motivating. She pushes you in the best way possible.
Since working with coach Kelly, I've lost 5 pounds in two months and have made sustainable changes to my diet. I'm making better choices about what I eat because I've been able to take back control over my emotional eating habits. The food I intake is healthier because I'm approaching cooking with a better mindset.

Kelly led an educational presentation that challenged me to think about eating to fuel my body instead of not eating to change my body. Kelly’s service stood out because she used real math and science to personalize my nutrition needs and deficits.
January and August 2024, I kept my workout routine pretty much the same but changed the calories and grams to match the numbers Kelly helped me discover my body needed. And I was honestly full most of the time.
I started to lose body fat and grow skeletal muscle mass all by what I was putting in my mouth instead of what I was keeping out of it.
The results were surprising. Between January 19 - August 30, 2024, my body fat dropped by 7.2%, I gained 9.5 pounds of skeletal muscle mass and, dropped 6.5 pounds.
I am confident that Kelly’s coaching not only helped me lose body fat but also win a body fat percentage loss competition at my gym during the same period.

I met Kelly while working out at Orange Theory. I appreciated her coaching style as she was easy to understand and gave clear instructions. I knew she was a registered dietitian and also did nutritional consulting. I'm a type 2 Diabetic and I thought/hoped she might be able to help me better control my A1C.
I learned a lot from Kelly and was surprised to think about how my mind, body and spirit could work together in making food choices. If I had a slip up, I never was made to feel ashamed. I really appreciated her positive reinforcement. I'm pleased that I'm still incorporating much of what I learned from Kelly into my life today. I still like finding different healthy snacks to change up my food routine and enjoy celebrating my successes, both big and small.

Kelly has been an extremely helpful part of my health journey. I appreciate the way she meets you where you are and assists you with building informed actionable goals.
Her background as a fitness coach also helped me feel supported to fuel my workouts for the progress I wanted to see like increasing my running pace. Previously when I’d tried dieting, I felt tired and anxious about keeping strictly to my parameters. Kelly helped me add some flexibility to my goals while also shedding new light on protein and fiber that helped me feel energized and excited for my workouts.
No shame here on prepared foods – I learned they can also be a helpful strategy when you have a busy schedule and again helped me keep my goals within reach. I sought out Kelly for her nutritional expertise and I learned so much! I was looking for ways to best supplement my workouts through the proper nourishment. She took her time to listen to my concerns and goals; and her no nonsense approach to food, especially carbs and fats, allowed me to incorporate more into my diet while eliminating the irrational fear of “carbs and fats.”
She taught me how to fuel my workouts and how to refuel afterward which improved my performance and recovery. Kelly has a fun sense of humor, is knowledgeable, approachable, and her services are reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend her services whether looking to lose weight, learn more about nutrition, or just wanting to incorporate a healthier lifestyle.

In the past, I followed the paleo diet and restricted myself from many foods. I purchased a nutrition consultation with Kelly to get advice from an expert dietitian. From the first time I met with her, it was clear to me that she was non-judgmental, compassionate and a good listener, and I felt comfortable sharing all my struggles with her.
She taught me all about counting macros and calculated my macros to accomplish my goals. I learned that when “dieting”, I had previously been under eating, and switching to macro counting has allowed me to properly nourish my body. Kelly has also helped me “steer away” from restrictive diets and allow myself to eat all foods.
Everything that Kelly has taught me has allowed me to achieve the results that I’ve strived for. I highly recommend Kelly’s services to all! It will be a great investment in your health.

Each time I speak with Kelly about food, nutrition, or eating I learn something. For three plus years, I've known her as a coach, dietitian, and friend, so hiring KNDA Consulting simply bought me additional individualized and usable information about something that I need to do everyday, and her practical, down to earth, character made it easy to spend my money here.
She accommodated my schedule, meeting me on a Saturday afternoon, and spent enough time getting the information she needed about what I like to eat and what I don't, my food sensitivities, and training goals to build a weekly menu/shopping list for me - an unexpectedly fun journey yielding tangible results.
Reading the customized grocery list in the store - that she developed - helped keep me on track with portion sizes, which Kelly based on my daily caloric demand, and reassured me that once cooking started I would have what I needed to prepare a delicious meal. I am a member of Orange Theory Fitness “OTF”. As part of their offerings, OTF members can participate in an annual “Transformation Challenge”. This is a challenge for yourself and you set your goal of what you want to accomplish in a 6-8 week timeframe.
I work out regularly but after enjoying too many Christmas treats, I thought it would be a good idea to enter the challenge to lose the weight I gained. One of the options was an offer to meet with an OTF Coach, who is also a Registered Dietitian. I opted for 4 sessions over the 6-8 week period.
Kelly first sent me a questionnaire to give her background on my dietary challenges and more importantly what I like and don’t like to eat. As a picky eater, this was very important for me. Kelly offered dates and times that worked with my busy schedule. Kelly was prepared for each session and offered a ton of guidance. This guidance was tailored for me; foods that I liked to eat that didn’t bother my gut. My gut was in miserable shape before I met Kelly. I feel so much better now and am able to eat a variety of foods that don’t bother me. I also lost my Christmas cookie weight.
Kelly offers professional and practical guidance that fit my needs. She was nonjudgmental and is a great listener. If you are wondering why you are unable to reach your weight goals or if you don’t feel good with anything you eat, I would highly recommend seeking Kelly’s services. These services were fairly priced and since we last met, I have easily maintained my weight and actually eat more than I have in the past. Plus I still get to eat candy if I feel the urge. The most surprising part of working with Kelly was that I never once felt my diet was restricted and I got tips on how to prevent the hunger “monster”. Plus I didn’t have to pay for some expensive program with food that would be mailed to me that I would not even like.

I had become frustrated with my situation as I seemed to be stuck in a weight loss plateau. I was eating healthily and working out, but nothing seemed to be changing. I knew I couldn't outrun my fork and that I needed to adjust my nutrition strategy for progress. However, when I researched online it seemed there were conflicting opinions everywhere. It was overwhelming because I was not sure which information to trust.
I discovered KNDA Consulting through the studio where I work out. I was familiar with Kelly as she is a coach from my studio. I knew her to be a fun, positive and spunky person. When I learned she was also a Dietitian and offered these services I decided to give her a try. It was a great decision. Kelly is certainly knowledgeable but more important for me, she is real and relatable. Kelly was able to meet me at my level. She explained things in a way I could understand and recommended strategies that worked in real life. I loved that she learned a bit about me and then tailored recommendations to fit me specifically. Kelly's services were affordable, and she was able to guide me toward excellent grocery choices that were also affordable. She educated me so I was able to see past fancy marketing and gimmicks that previously had me overpaying. Kelly was able to tweak my eating plan and unlock the magic for me to reach my goals.
I loved that Kelly gave me information and facts. There was never judgment. I can't say enough good things about Kelly. I have referred several friends and my daughter to her because she is someone I trust. Kelly has the skill to help but, more than that, she is a great person who genuinely wants the best for her clients.

I had the pleasure of working with Kelly on a 1:1 nutritional coaching session during a transformation challenge taking place at my local gym. Kelly did a great job of assessing and understanding my own personal nutritional goals so that she could make a plan that would work best for me! She spent time going through examples of meals and snacks that would align with my goals and what a typical day of eating could look like. She also educated me on appropriate proportions and how each food group fuels our bodies.
Kelly has an energetic and positive attitude that makes working with her very enjoyable! She meets you where you are at and helps you set realistic goals. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to switch up their nutritional routines and meet their goals!

I am a member of the Orange Theory Fitness where Kelly coaches. I’ve gotten to know and respect her. I had spoken with her at OTF several times about nutrition, things like artificial sweeteners and protein powder options. I trust her knowledge and opinion. When a doctor talked with my wife about her high cholesterol and suggested she make changes, I knew Kelly was a great resource. We spoke with Kelly at length, and she made several recommendations. We’ve made significant changes to our diet and lifestyle, and have been very happy with the outcomes.
Kelly was priced very fairly, cheaper than I would have expected for a consultation with a Dietitian. As I’ve gotten older, like most people I’ve developed bad habits and sometimes taken shortcuts or easy solutions with food. Kelly has given us excellent advice on meal prep, food substitutions and just mindful eating. I am very happy we spoke with her, and would do it again.
One thing that really stood out for me though, maybe even more than the information, is that Kelly is an amazing person. She was able to be both professional and approachable. It was more like talking with a friend. She was supportive and non-judgmental, leaving us feeling positive and rather than discouraged and defeated by impossible food regiments.

I was introduced to Kelly's services through an event at OrangeTheory Fitness Roseville (Transformation Challenge). As a member of OTF doing the challenge, I was offered the opportunity to purchase a nutritional consultation session with Kelly at a discounted price. At first, I was skeptical about the advice offered by a random nutritionist, but after meeting Kelly remotely and going through the whole process, I really learned a lot including several tips that have helped me eat healthier and better.
Some of the tips she gave me really changed my outlook on what foods are "good" or "bad" and how to hold myself more accountable through tips to stay satiated on the go and how there isn't a bad type of food to buy as long as it fits in an active lifestyle. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the consultations and how it gave me a new outlook on food and nutrition. After Kelly's consultations, I was able to keep many of those tips and adjust my behavior which has led to less hunger, being smarter about eating on the go, and making meals easier.
I would highly recommend Kelly for sessions, even if it's just a few. The price is very reasonable compared to what you would normally get and she did a great job giving me advice I keep to this day.
